Introducing Nooky

You're not building
alone anymore.

Nook plans and builds with you, keeps every project on your Mac in one calm place — and a whole town of Nooks is right outside.

Free · macOS 26 · Apple silicon

Nook builds your café website while you grab a coffee — and taps you when it needs you.

Nooky features

Every project. One place.

Nooky finds every project on your Mac and brings code, Git, docs and AI sessions together — so you always know where you left off.

Download

Nooky scans your Mac, recognises each project and its icon and shows what changed since last time. Nothing to set up, nothing to import.

See Nooky

Everything in one window

Your projects, Nook, your office, a town to explore — and the Nooks you meet there.

Music: “I Want to go Home” by Eldritch Grim, after “Nostalgic Piano” by Rafael Krux (CC0)

Safe by default

Nothing risky without your OK

Commands, internet access and changes outside your project always ask first. You see the exact command every time — never just a summary.

Your projects stay yours

Nooky works with the folders on your Mac. Nook only sends what a task needs to the AI model, through our own server. No ads, no tracking.

Online on your terms

Your mic stays off until you hold V. Mute, block or report any Nook in two clicks, and play offline whenever you like. Others only see what you choose to show.

Nook in action

From one sentence to a running site

Nook plans, writes the code and asks before anything important. You stay in the loop without doing the typing.

Nook's world

Your office. Your town.

Between sessions, Nook has an office you furnish your way — and a whole town behind the door.

Nooky online

Never alone in town.

Other Nooks walk the same streets. Say hi, talk, show what you're making — or just sit on a bench together.

Say hi. Type, or hold V to talk — the closer you stand, the louder you hear each other.
Hold up a sign. Put a picture of your project above Nook for everyone to see.
Visit friends. Invite up to four friends into your office. They see your furniture and pictures, never your projects.
Stay in touch. Add friends, see where they hang out, send messages and pictures.
Dance, wave, take a selfie. Everyone around you sees it.

Frequently asked questions

What is Nooky?

Nooky is a Mac app that finds all your projects and brings code, Git, documents and AI sessions together in one calm place. Nook, your AI companion, helps you plan and build — whether you've coded for years or are just getting started.

Is Nooky an app builder?

No. Nooky doesn't turn one prompt into an app and leave you alone with it. It keeps track of everything you make and works with you, step by step, on your own Mac.

Is Nooky free?

Yes. Nook comes with free energy that refills over time. If you want more, Nooky Pro gives Nook more energy and the Pro models for €20 a month.

Do I need an AI subscription?

No. Nook is built in. If you already have a Claude plan, Nooky sets up the Claude command-line tool for you and uses your plan.

Can I meet other people in Nooky?

Yes. Walk into town and you'll meet other Nooks: chat, talk with your voice, add friends and invite them to your office. Online is optional — you can play offline any time.

Can other Nooks see my projects?

No. Others see your name, your picture and what you choose to hold up on a sign. Visitors in your office see your furniture and the pictures in your frames, never your sessions or files.

Does Nook ask before it acts?

Yes. Reading your project happens on its own. Commands, internet access and changes outside the project always ask first, and you see the exact command. You decide per session how much Nook may do by itself.

Which Macs does Nooky run on?

Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 26 or later.
